Intermediate Parents, we know some of you like to do your school shopping early. Attached are the supply lists for the 2022/2023 School Year.
We are so excited about our Summer program starting next week. We will be located at the Intermediate for all grades. Teachers are finishing making calls to parents tomorrow to fill in all the details of bus drops and times, schedules and expectations. McLoud Public Schools offers its deepest condolences to the students, faculty, and families of Uvalde. This tragedy has once again put student safety at the forefront of our minds and has prompted us to closely examine our current practices as well as our district Crisis Management Plan. I met this morning with Assistant Chief of Police Kyle Webb and District Safety Manager, Joe Bob Ross. We will spend the summer reviewing our plans and adding additional safety measures to our district campuses. Teaching staff will receive specific training this fall prior to the start of students returning to school. We will coordinate this training with all local, county, and state agencies. I assure you we will take every precaution to keep your children safe.
