I know many of you have questions regarding prom and graduation. These are issues we do not have answers to at this time. I promise we will be working on solutions and keep you all updated. Thank you for your patience as we navigate through unchartered challenges. - Mrs. H


This afternoon, the state Board of Education voted unanimously to enact a mandatory, statewide closure of all public schools through April 6th. As more decisions are made and further information is received we will update you.


Update:
As you are well aware, situations involving the coronavirus pandemic are developing rapidly. School superintendents will participate in a conference call tomorrow with State Superintendent Hofmeister. We will update you as soon as we have new information. Mr. Stanley

The high school soccer games scheduled for March 13th will now be played at Community Christian. Girls will start at 5:00 with the Boys game to follow.

McLoud BPA took state competition by storm! After months of hard work and preparation, they anxiously await the results of their competitions. Next stop Nationals!




We love March madness at the Junior High. Nitro type competitions and ELA book wars. Our Kids love it!




Doc Smith, Mrs. Ramirez, and botany students held a plant sale today for JH and HS teachers. The BIG sale will be held in April!! You are all invited! Stay tuned for updates!!




Dr. David Hanan - University of Central Oklahoma Associate Director of Bands and Adviser to Esports visits with McLoud High School students.



Joe Nolan was recognized for his service to McLoud Schools. He served 10 years on the school board. Thank you Joe for always putting kids first!


Parents: there was a slight altercation on bus 3 this afternoon. Everyone is safe. Students were divided between bus 3 and bus 9 to be delivered home safely.

McLoud Junior High Baseball games scheduled for today, March 9th, have been cancelled.

Congratulations to Corinna Ropp, Matthew Lehenbauer, and Nathan Eaton who received Superior ratings and will be going to state with their solos. Eight members competed and all performed very well. We are proud of their hard work and dedication to music!



No zero period weight lifting tomorrow, March 6. Coach Hall will be at the regional powerlifting meet.

Congratulations to Mrs. Mahoney’s 4th grade class for the entire class passing their multiplication fact fluency. You all have worked hard, and we are very proud of you!


Denzel Harris signs a letter of intent to play football at Southwestern College in Kansas. He is the third McLoud player to sign! #jinxcat
