Congrats to these McLoud Champions! Claire Mapira, Chloe Mapira, and Emma Eslinger won 2nd place out of 850 participants in today's OU Engineering Fair Egg Car Crash Contest. Also at the fair were Tripp Bishop, Kaleb Parker, and Carli Sisco. Way to go Redskins!
FFA/AG competed at the state fair in OKC the past 5 days showing sheep, pigs, and livestock judging. In sheep showmanship Liberty Austin won 5th place, Cadence Rice was 7th place, Alaina Morris was 6th place. In the sheep show Liberty had a 5th place lamb, Jade Villalobos was 5th with her lamb, Cadence Rice was 5th and 3rd with her lambs, Ever Cerda was 6th place and Alaina Morris was 7th place. In the pig show Austyn Wood placed 3rd, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with her pigs. In the judging contest yesterday the junior team was 50th out of 251 teams and the senior team was 26th out of 200. Abigayle Wren placed 60th and Mason Wakley placed 89th out of 617 competitors.
