More great happenings with FFA!! At the awards assembly Saturday night McLoud had the 3rd place senior livestock judging team, 2nd place junior livestock judging team, and Alaina Morris was named the 2nd place junior individual judger. Our students were also rewarded with winning Swine herdsmanship AND Sheep herdsmanship awards. 6 students that do not show livestock competed in horticulture and entomology contests and we had 3 first place winners, 2 second place winners and a third place. And lastly, Daisy Duvall was named as Grand Champion overall shop project.
A great week for FFA at the County Fair! In the sheep show-division champions were Caidence Rice, Alaina Morris, Liberty Austin, and Jade Villalobos. Alaina was named reserve grand ewe lamb and Jade was picked as Grand overall wether lamb. In the hog show, Kayse Higdon with Reserve champion Berk, Mason Wakley with champion hamp, Austyn Wood with 3 champions and Finley Wilson showing to a class winner.

What a great day sharing the story of "The Coffee Bean for Kids" by Damon West. Thank you to the Elementary for allowing Link Crew to visit, read, and interact with the 2nd and 3rd grade classes.
