Last Friday a team of Gordon Cooper Students went to Odessa, Texas. In Odessa they spent twenty four hours sending up weather balloons to monitor the atmosphere during the eclipse. GCTC students were a part of a grant that gives them an unbelievable opportunity to study science hands on in the field. They will go out again for the next eclipse in April when they will travel to the Broken Bow, Idabel area. McLoud's Eleanor Moiser and Harley Halford were among the team of ten students.
