Due to Meeker not having enough players for their Freshman team, there will not be a Freshman game tonight. Seventh grade will now start at 6:00. Eighth grade will follow. Come support our JH football teams.

We are canceling the Pre-K / TK field trip to Orr Family Farm on Monday, Oct. 15, due to the impending cold weather. Rescheduled date will be Tuesday, Oct. 23rd.

There will be a Title VI Indian Education Committee Meeting on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the McLoud Schools Administration Building at 113 N. Main, McLoud. All parents are welcome.

Thomas Family Fundraiser- T-shirts are being sold to benefit the family of Kaylen Thomas. Order forms are available in the high school east office. Order forms and money are due by Wednesday, Oct. 24. Checks should be made payable to McLoud Girls Basketball.




All secondary students are in the shelter and safe.

Funeral services for Kaylen Thomas will be this Friday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the McLoud High School Gymnasium. The family requests casual dress.


A memorial fund has been established for Kaylen Thomas to assist the family with funeral expenses. Donations may be taken to BancFirst in Mcloud, to Melanie Krausse at the Chamber Office, or To Rhonda Hockenbury at Mcloud High School.

Staff, students, parents, and families- McLoud Public Schools will have numerous counselors available Monday and throughout the week as needed. We are touched by the many school districts and individuals who have reached out to assist us.

Tonight’s football game vs. Cushing has been moved to tomorrow at 1:00 pm at Cushing.
