We care about the health of our students, staff and families and we want to keep everyone updated on what we’re doing as a district to combat COVID-19 (Coronavirus). In the face of the uncertainty caused by Covid -19, McLoud Public Schools is working every day to provide definite answers for the 2020-2021 school year. We certainly appreciate your patience during this time.
The district continues to closely monitor reports and information shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about Covid-19, and we are in contact regularly with the Oklahoma State Department of Education as well as health officials from the county and state.
Thank you for your input on our recent survey. The results will be presented at the July board meeting on July 13th. Our district plan will include a virtual option this fall as we want to serve all students in a positive and safe manner to help them continue to meet academic growth goals. This online option will be delivered using Google Classroom and will align directly with Oklahoma standards. More information about the online learning will be available after the board meeting.
