Secondary Parents! Chromebook fee and form clarification. If you see more than one fee for $25, just pay one per student. It doesn't matter which one, they will both be receipted and applied to the account.
The Chromebook acknowledgement form needs to be filled out for your students. You can find the form here:

If you opt in for insurance, you have until the end of the day Friday August 9th to pay in full. Insurance is not active until paid. I hope this clarifies any issues. Thank you for your patience.

We are excited for the start of our 24/25 school year, Tuesday, August 6th. Please feel free to email me with questions if you haven't yet enrolled or if you missed Parent Orientation Meet the Teacher Night last week. You may also call our office or swing by tomorrow 8-3 to pick up schedules or pick up a parent information packet. Reminder that students will receive their Chromebooks on Friday, August 9th, only if you filled out a tech form. Technology Insurance must be purchased before checkout. Report to homerooms first thing Tuesday, then athletes will be released for an Athletic meeting with coaches. We can't wait to see our students!

McLoud Public Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which provides nutritious meals at no charge to children 18 and under during the summer. Children aged 18 and under, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, are eligible to receive meals through SFSP. A person 19 years of age and over who has a mental or physical disability (as determined by a state or local agency) and who participates during the school year in a public or private, non-profit school program(established for the mentally and physically disabled) is also eligible to receive meals. Meals will be provided at the site provided: McLoud Intermediate, 866 S Arena Rd, McLoud, OK. Operating Monday through Friday, May 24, 2024 through June 21, 2024. Breakfast times will be 8:00 am -9:15 am. Lunch will be from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Closed Memorial day.
McLoud School District,
In light of the recent safety concerns in McLoud and surrounding schools districts, the school board along with public concern has compelled us to revisit safety options and upgrades at key locations throughout our district. A comprehensive safety assessment has been completed and many improvements are in order. Upgrades were carefully prioritized by giving consideration to high traffic areas and areas with excessive exposure.
The district has made safety a priority and has taken many steps toward solidifying safety protocols and practices. However, those things alone cannot meet the needs of increasing safety concerns. District administration is working with the school board to reintroduce a future bond issue that will meet higher standards of safety for students, staff, and anyone visiting our district.
As plans are drawn and decisions made, we hope to share that information with you and gain your support for the future safety of our students and staff.
