Flexible Fridays feature IXL Power hour to remediate skills in reading and math. Each month the top five winners of each grade and overall homeroom classrooms win prizes and bragging rights. These winners won time in the Mind Cave to play games.

Today we did our Chemical and Physical Changes lab where Mrs. Wagner's classes tested how candy corn reacts to different solutions over a span of 5 minutes. One of the classes inquired about how long it’d take the candy corn to completely dissolve so they decided to do a timelapse! It took over an hour for all 4 candy corns to completely dissolve. The only thing left behind was the waxy coating! Great job!

On Tuesday we had our inaugural MJHS Super Smash Bros Esports teams. Team 1 is the "varsity" and team 2 is the "JV" but they are all really good and can be interchanged as the season goes on.
Tonight, we had our first Super Smash Match after they finished the Mario Kart tryouts. Team winners:
