Last Friday, the McLoud High School Student Council hosted a Top Gun themed fall District 9 convention at Cinema Centre 8 in Shawnee. They currently serve as the District Vice President. 11 schools and over 220 students were there to learn more about leadership through games and activities. They also got to hear from State Representative Forrest Bennett about the impact they have as students, and then they got to watch a screening of Top Gun: Maverick! Our Student Council did a fantastic job planning and running everything!

Due to weather, the Powder Puff football game has been cancelled tonight.
