Academic Advancement will begin on Wednesday, 8/28 during PRIDE! Here is an outline of what will be happening as we provide remediation/re-teaching for our students. We will also continue to offer Friday Focus from 8-11 on Fridays that we are not in school!



9th/10th graders will be NWEA testing in Social Studies classes today and tomorrow, they will be taking the reading assessment of NWEA.


Seniors and Senior Parents, please do not forget about Monday, August 26, being Senior Picture day. Multiple reminders have been posted in the Senior Google Classroom. Here is the letter Focused Photography sent again as well. If you are wearing the coat and tie, they ask you please bring a plain white t-shirt to wear as well. Students must pay the $20 sitting fee either in person or online, or they will not be able to take their photos tomorrow. There will be retakes later in the semester for anyone who misses it.

Today during PRIDE we had Club preview day! It was a great success, our students got to see what they could join, and Kona Ice set up for us!!

Day 2 of NWEA testing for English classes begins tomorrow! Charged Chromebooks are a must! If there is a problem with your students Chromebook please let the front office know.


NWEA Testing is upon us! NWEA is defined as adaptive assessments for K-12 students in core subjects, featuring a variety of question types (multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, drag-and-drop) with 40-43 questions per section. Students are assessed during class time. We are assessing 9th/10th graders at the High School to measure academic progress or growth.
