Superintendent's Message

Dear McLoud Staff, Parents and Community,

Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. I hope you spent the summer relaxing, finding time for yourself as well as enjoying family time. I am the new superintendent Steve Stanley.

As we begin another school year, I look forward to you being a part of our McLoud family and hope you become involved in our schools and community. The McLoud School district is known for its incredible staff with their commitment to excellence. To those new to our school community, we are looking forward to your contributions to our students and team. We are so fortunate to have a school district for which we can be proud of with students, staff, families and the community coming together to support our mission to Inspire Excellence. This is the reason why I chose to be a member of your team.

I would like to take a minute and update the administrative change for the new school year. I am very excited about being the leader of McLoud Public Schools. My wife and I will live in the district. We have two boys, my oldest is a history teacher and the younger in an assistant golf pro. We have a wonderful new granddaughter. I am here to ensure that our staff and students have exceptional educational experiences in our student centered school district. I am always available to you, I have an open door policy. My motto has been Every Student, Every Day, Whatever it Takes!

This year, as every year, we commit ourselves to providing the very best educational experience possible. The state budget will be a struggle however, our focus is on continuous improvement and communication. We will update you often through our newsletters, social media, calling service and text messages, as well as in school and community meetings. Please take a moment to visit our district and school websites. Have a meaningful and productive 2016-2017 school year. I will see you in our schools!
